Our history

The Privilege Tours story begins in 2017, when Jorge and Mariano visited São Tomé for the first time. What was initially a tourist trip quickly transformed into a deep connection with the island, its people, and its nature. From that love, Privilege Tours was born: an agency created to share the hidden treasures of São Tomé and Príncipe with travelers from around the world.

Although Jorge and Mariano are no longer physically with us, their vision lives on in every experience we design.

In 2022, Miguel Martín assumed leadership of the agency under the umbrella of The Africana Project, a business holding company committed to developing sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation in Africa. His arrival marked the beginning of a new era, combining the founding passion with a more strategic, professional, and international focus.

Since then, Privilege Tours has grown significantly, expanding its team, modernizing its services, and establishing strong partnerships with international tour operators. Today, we remain true to our purpose: not only organizing trips, but creating authentic experiences that connect every traveler with the profound soul of São Tomé and Príncipe.
